Fall 2020 water timer failure

 

GFI may have tripped  in Aug/Sept.    We came around Thanksgiving.

April 2020

very little growth since the fall

orange flower vine good growth

right side vine seems finally dead

some dieback in the hawthorn tree

pushing back green tree from the house

cutting back green tree back inside the fence

massive damage

jackrabbit suppression

sumac gaining mass

left vine might be finally dead

April 2019

this was the main project.   bush has large dead area. 
trimmed it way back to promote branching back inside.

April  very spring-like temps.   still cool.  but getting warm.

very little growth to prune.
able to tip  pyracanthus to inhibit runaway shoot growth.

lots of bunnies running around, and quail.
          bunnies attack cactus too.

one main chewed dripline.

Was good weather this Thanksgiving.   mostly calm, except for one windy day.

Driving over, we escaped the smoke from the Camp Fire in Butte county.
A good rain before we drove back,  put the fire out and cleared a lot of smoke.

There was low clouds/fog coming down from Tehachapi, one car spun out and flipped.
